QwenWork School Connect: 271 Students, 3 Days of Hands-on AI at SMP Marsudirini Bekasi
Three days. Nine classes. 271 students introduced to hands-on AI.
We’ve just completed QwenWork School Connect at SMP Marsudirini Bekasi, held from October 12–14, 2026.
As a QwenWork Ambassador, one of my goals is not simply to introduce QwenWork to more people, but to build meaningful local adoption — helping new users understand the technology, experience it firsthand, and gain the confidence to use it on their own.
What we reached in three days
- 271 students
- 9 classes (9A–9I)
- 3 days of hands-on learning
- 7 local team members supporting the activation, working alongside the school’s IT teachers
Students went beyond learning what AI is. They practiced writing prompts with better context and used QwenWork to turn their ideas into actual outputs — from games and websites to quizzes and learning materials.
What the feedback told us
- 4.59/5 overall satisfaction
- 4.70/5 perceived usefulness
- 98% felt fairly confident to very confident in writing prompts with proper context
For me, community growth is not measured by attendance alone. It is also about activation, participation, confidence, practical usage, and the local ecosystem we build around the product.
That last point matters. This School Connect was made possible not only by my role as QwenWork Ambassador, but by a 7-person local team supporting the program throughout the three days, together with the school’s IT teachers. Building that local support capacity is an important part of making community initiatives scalable and sustainable.
The students’ feedback also gives us clear signals for the next iteration: they want more interactive activities and an even faster, smoother AI experience.
A big thank you to Mrs. Basillisa Sri Riyanti, S.Pd., the teachers and the entire SMP Marsudirini Bekasi community, and my local team for making these three days possible.
But the most important KPI is what happens after the event: whether these students continue experimenting, creating, and discovering what they can accomplish with AI.
Context is all you need.
