June 25, 2026 marked an exciting milestone for the MuleRun ecosystem as MuleRun Community Indonesia successfully hosted the first official MuleRun Meetup in Indonesia in Bekasi, West Java.
The meetup brought together developers, students, AI enthusiasts, creators, and technology professionals who were eager to explore how MuleRun simplifies the development of AI-powered applications through an interactive, hands-on learning experience.
Introducing MuleRun to the Local Community
The evening began with an introduction to MuleRun Community Indonesia, followed by an overview of the MuleRun platform, its capabilities, and how it empowers users to rapidly build AI-driven applications.
Participants learned about MuleRun’s vision, practical use cases, and how the platform enables creators to build useful AI solutions with minimal complexity.
Learning by Building
Rather than focusing only on presentations, the meetup emphasized practical experience.
During the hands-on workshop, participants worked together to build their own web-based games using MuleRun. Throughout the session, the organizing team guided attendees step-by-step, helping them understand the platform while encouraging experimentation and collaboration.
By the end of the workshop, participants had successfully created 16 web-based games, demonstrating how quickly ideas can be transformed into working applications with MuleRun.
Community Growth
The meetup also achieved several meaningful milestones for the growing Indonesian MuleRun community.

Overcoming Challenges
Heavy rain across Bekasi shortly before the event affected transportation and reduced attendance. Despite this, those who attended remained highly engaged throughout the evening.
The interactive workshop, active discussions, and networking session created a welcoming environment where participants could exchange ideas and explore the possibilities of building with MuleRun.
Building a Strong Community
One of the goals of the meetup was not only to introduce the platform but also to begin building a sustainable local community.
The local organizing team, supported with official MuleRun T-Shirts, ensured the event ran smoothly from preparation through closing. Participants also received official MuleRun stickers and keychains, adding to the community experience and creating a memorable first meetup.
What’s Next?
This meetup is only the beginning.
MuleRun Community Indonesia plans to organize additional meetups, beginner workshops, and hands-on learning sessions to help more developers and creators discover MuleRun and build AI-powered applications together.
As the community grows, future events will include more advanced workshops, collaboration opportunities, and partnerships with universities and local technology communities across Indonesia.
We look forward to welcoming even more builders at the next MuleRun Meetup.
